When I first arrived in August, the month school started, I expected just another easy school year. But I soon realized seventh grade was going to be the hardest year yet. It first hit me by surprise when when I wasn’t getting the grades I expected, but eventually I figured out that if you study a little everyday and work hard at your goals it will get easier.
In seventh grade I learned to study all subjects so you don’t just focus on one. There was also going to be a lot of homework to be finished. Also I had very little free time so the earlier I got things done the more I had.
As the year comes to an end, seventh grade is still hard, but I reached my goals with a lot of effort. If I had to do it over I would study more for tests. My advice to next years seventh graders is to hope for good fair teachers, study a lot, and prepare for everything.

When you think of leadership, you think of a king or one person guiding everyone; however don’t think leadership falls in one person leading others. I think leadership is in someone when they lead them selves or a group leading each other. If there is one leader and that leader makes a mistake then everyone is affected, but if you lead yourself and make a mistake it only affects you. Don’t make bad things happen to other people by your mistake.

Don’t rely on others for everything. Be independent. Be brave. Take others advice but don’t always fallow it. Trust yourself. Use what you know. Learn from your mistakes but don’t make others.

My favorite poem is a haiku. I really like haikus because they are short and sweet. This haiku basically says that you shouldn’t criticize someone and if you have something bad to say don’t say it. I found this poem at haiku-poetry.org.

Can it get any weirder? Can it get any cooler? Can any place come close? The people, the music, and the food. I live in the best city in the world. Austin is the greatest place to live.

First, Austin has the greatest music festivals. Austin hosts some of the the biggest music festivals like ACL, South by South West. With a great variety of music comes a great variety of people witch makes it easy to meet some new friends. Austin is a great place to live for all music lovers.

Another reason Austin is the best place to live is that it has some of the best food. As the capital of Texas Austin basically has to have some good BBQ- not just good BBQ but the best BBQ. Austin doesn’t only have BBQ though it has many different great foods, and with a great variety of foods comes a great variety of happy stomachs. Austin is the perfect place to live for music lovers with an apatite.

I’ll ask again, can it get any place get any weirder or any cooler than Austin? Maybe so, but for now Austin is the greatest place to live.

I don’t know about you but I don’t watch tv, instead I watch YouTube. I think it’s amazing that you can see just about anything on it. You can search different videos, and even make your own. My favorite videos are funny ones. In fact YouTube will even recommend videos that they think you would like.
Another cool thing about YouTube is that you can make money off of it. I think every 10k views you get some money. From all of my videos I’ve made like $5. It may not be much but all I had to to was make a couple of videos.
What I like most is knowing that your making someone smile by making videos. Maybe you can make a channel. If you do please subscribe. Oh and some money would be nice. I’m kidding of course, but seriously. Back to YouTube make a channel and make someone laugh today.

Aargh! My stomach! I wish I would have eaten the past couple of days. I really need food!

First of all, food makes you happy. For instance, after eating lunch I was in a much better mood for the rest of the day. Ah my stomach feels nice and full. I think I will be smiling until I go to bed! Food is like a gateway to happiness.

Another reason you need food is that if you don’t eat food you will die. Further more, without the energy that food has you will starve to death. I defenatly don’t want die, and if it makes me happy food is a big win! This proves that you need food.

Remember food is something you need, and can’t live without. The goal of humanity is survival, and you can’t accomplish that without food. Crunch! Aaahhhhh! That feels so much better.

Last weekend our basketball team played one of the best team in the league. We played well throughout the whole game. In the fourth quarter we were down by two points. My teammates worked hard to get the ball to me. I had to make this shot count. One dribble and then a shot. “Swish”. The game was going into overtime. For the rest of the game we shut them down so they could not score. Taking three shots and making them all to win the game was one of the coolest things I’ve done in a game. Surely I will never forget that close game.

So, as you know I am working on my Gt project. The other two group members moved to a different class due to schedule changes. They had over half of the stuff we worked on. Because of this I had to go back to my old project on a biodegradable water bottle. I didn’t have any of the material to make this, but because I am a good editor I managed to pull it off on film. So it all ended fine and I got a good grade. So I guess there is a lesson in this, and that is always have a back-up plan because you never know if something will go wrong.
